I am a teacher and writer who posts about everyday feats, fears, and exploits from my life and those around me as see it from my small but open-minded perch in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I hope to write in a way that my readers can either smirk or smile. I also write for my students who struggled to find a voice and failed or for those who finally found a tiny lighted path that set them on their way. UPDATE: I have returned after five years. I discovered quickly that I’m not a fiction writer, but I left in two pieces, “My Stars Are in a Different Orbit.” Now I’m going to open up to my thesis about my mental health journey, hoping it may resonate with someone.
